Out of Juice

i left home today with the battery bar on my handphone still looking green, though a little low. i checked the status and it told me there were at least 20% of juice in it. And so i left home to meet Yaowen without much worries. But what i didnt expect was a few calls to be made, and quite a number of SMS-es to be sent, and to my surprise, at a certain moment in time, i found my handphone already powered off.

Now, i started having my handphone during Secondary 4, and before that, if so happens i have to make a call, i could have easily borrowed my friend's mobile. If you were to ask me when the last time i used the public telephone was, i really couldnt remember. And today, i picked up the handset of the public telephone for the first time in a super long while, slotted a 10c coin into the machine and started dialing the number. Fortunate thing was that i could recall the number of the person i'm trying to contact! If not, i think i can really spell "HA-BES" with my backside. Haha. Okay, just joking, if really ha-bes i also wont do that.

If you're looking for some nostalgic feel during this period, maybe you can give the public telephone a try. i also didnt know how the other party on the phone and i could still get so talkative on the public telephone. We talked some rubbish until the warning tone came up for me to slot the next 10c coin in and we had yet decide on the meeting location. (Yes, i'm damn chicken-backside wan, can? And so are you.)

Anyway, it's been a while since i took five. i miss taking it. =)
