*30 Laps
i did something today which i have never done before. Went back to NUS and i swam 30 laps at the pool today. Probably not much of a big deal to some people but to me, it is a great deal. There is this fact about me which many people do not know. i have very poor water confidence. But guess what? i still go about swimming, and i have an Open Water Diving License. Some irony, isnt it? Well, i guess it's about facing your uncertainty as well as your fears. My 30 laps took me quite a while to complete, but i'm not so bothered with my speed. Completing a feat which i never thought i could do is all that matters. Good workout to my heart. And i think i dropped my wallet for the first time in my life today, and thankfully, it was a Good Samaritan who picked it up. i didnt realise i dropped my wallet, and then a call came from the lifeguard on duty at the NUS pool. The fortunate thing was that i lost nothing but gain the lesson to be more careful with my possessions. Finally, i managed to try the Disney cafe at Anchorpoint today. Why am i so excited about it? Well, i walked past it a few times but never really tried their food. Had dinner with Sharon today over there and i must say their food is excellent. For the pizza, their crust is fresh and soft and the toppings are good. The mushroom is chewy too. For the beef bolognaise and pepperoni sphagetti, it was just as good too. The beef is cooked to a satisfactory degree but the pepperoni was a little overcooked. But overall, the dish is still palatable to my liking. Generally, i can say that i love the food and i really like the decor of the place too. Not sure how my body will react tomorrow morning after i subjected my body to such a physically-challenging feat. i hope i do not wake up with a stiff body that i cant move my limbs at all. Coming up tomorrow, it's clubbing night with friends and it's Ladies' Night tomorrow. i'll be down clubbing with a bunch of people made up of different groups of friends.
