24, 25, 26

It's Boxing Day today. i have decided to spend it on something more purposeful for myself. No more ESESC stuff. No more CLP matters. No more academic stuff. i shall just back up everything in my laptop and set it back to factory default settings. My sexy lappie has been giving me quite a fair bit of problems all these while. MSN is buggy. Sharing folders doesnt work at times. My iTunes was originally white but it became gay with all the pink and purple colouration.

Guess i will have to spend quite a fair bit of time backing up my things on this laptop and reconfiguring everything back if i want to get back to using this laptop by tonight. In any case, i shall not let my Boxing Day be spent so mundanely. Will be attending Yulin's birthday party tonight but i will have to disappoint her by not turning up in the Bollywood theme. Dont have any Indian-flavoured clothing with me. So sorry Yulin! Well, that's Boxing Day for me.

Christmas Eve and Christmas itself was very special this year. Spent it in the most memorable way possible. i became a half-baked chef on Christmas Eve to prepare food for the night. Was expecting everywhere to be crowded. Therefore, we decided to have our own food in our own space with the cool breeze blowing in our face. Just a pity the rain spoiled the festive mood a little. We had to cramp ourselves in the tight space in the car and negotiate every movement carefully just in case we spill the food over and dirty the car. We were just so cautious at every moment but i enjoyed the night anyway. Food was a little too much, but i prefer the variety. That's why i prepared 3 different kinds of spreads/toppings to be put on top of the baguette. And there are the fruits. i'm so glad the strawberries and kiwis turn out excellent. Once again, just a little too much i must say. In the end, we couldnt really finish them up. Can only blame my "kiasu auntie" syndrome. Went to buy 4 kiwis because they were selling them at $3. A kiwi cost 80c but i felt that 2 kiwis werent enough. But the stupid me didnt realise that by buying 4 instead of 3, it wasnt so much about the 20c i will save, it is the extra 60c which i have to fork out. Aint i dumb? Okay, got to shake off this "kiasu auntie" syndrome in me. In any case, the night was spent wonderfully. It was a Christmas Eve i never had.

Christmas itself was just as good. Spent the entire afternoon doing up a card which got me looking at it a lot of times. Simplicity scores! i love the way it looks so classy when it's design is simple. The first design which i tried doing was a total disappointment, even for myself. Oh well, didnt finish up the first card anyway. Christmas night was more or less spent in the same fashion as Christmas Eve. Memorable. Couldnt have asked it in a better way. =)

Okay, better get back to business with my lappie. Hope everything can be done neatly by tonight.
