365 days a year in the year 1987. Nothing special for that year itself. Not that it had a day more or less than any other years. But on 21st December that year, 2 babies were borned. They were fated, or maybe it could have been my fate, to meet each other to become the best of friends.

One of them is my ACS(I) buddy named Yaowen. i can still remembered the thing which brought us together. It was the online game called Archmage. We always chiong down to the AC Library to use the computer and access our accounts for an update on our game. It was through this game which unwittingly bonded us. Of course, there were many more other events which strengthened our bond.

Another person is my BMT platoon mate, who is also my current unit platoon mate, Daryl Tan. i'll never forget how i always meet him first thing in the morning in a corner of the toilet, while i was brushing my teeth, in Taurus Company. You always asked me why i liked that corner so much and i would just simply reply, "i just like it!". We spent the last journey on the Penguin Fastcraft towards the mainland, leaving our last footprints on Tekong together. And now, we're in the same unit together, talking cock everyday, and in the same platoon again.

It felt like a miracle when i discovered the similarity in birth dates but it also felt like this arrangement had been planned out all along.
