Finally, the last day of my CBR¹ Combat Engineer course. 10 weeks of tough CBR training is finally over.

I WISH!!

My course was suppose to end this week on Thursday morning but it has just being extended till June 30th. That is another bloody 5 weeks!! i will be stuck as a trainee for another 5 weeks! This is so damn bloody irritating. 5 additional weeks of training means 5 more weeks of booking in and out only in Smart 4, having to march out from Company line to the main camp entrance, not being able to bring food into camp, and many more other priviledges forgone. Sickening.

i will have to take IPPT² again, despite getting a silver. This time round, i came so close to getting a gold. My 2.4km timing was about 6 to 10 seconds short of attaining 9 minutes and 44 seconds. But i'm still glad that i have once again slashed my personal best. Previously, i slashed the timing from 10:21 during my JC years to 10:13 on my last IPPT. This time, i broke my PB again. Really, i cant ask for more. i can only ask myself to do better for my next IPPT so that i can earn my gold, which includes a badge, $200 and an immunity from future IPPTs. Woohoo! i hope i can do just that.
