Life is tiring. How exciting can a JC student's life get? i'm quite sure it is a very predictable one. CCA, lectures, tutorials, assignments, sleep. i can actually just make it CCA, education, sleep. But i am not trying to say that there is no way you can add spice into your life. Yes, you can, if you are capable of it.
The June holidays have arrive. i have been looking forward to this for quite long. i need it to catch up with sleep and with work. i do hope i have the discipline to mug for the upcoming Common Test and do well for it. i am expected to do well, considering that i only have three A-Level subjects at hand. But i am not so sure now. At the end of training today, Mr Lim announced the importance of studying over the June holidays, and of course on training today. But there was something which he said that sparked me into deep thought. Just a few days after the Common Test ends, Nationals Inter-School Track and Field will mark its beginning. i am running 200m for Nationals. i know many people are just going to start scolding me for saying that i dont have the confidence of doing well. Come on, it is so damn bloody obvious that i do not have the experience and years of training since Sec 1. The amount of time that i have at end only permits me to improve just so much. Even shaving 2 seconds off my last electronic timing for 200m and i'll be at average level.
Anyway, no point whining here. If you must know, i'll say that i am not training with the mentality of losing out there. i'll still be putting up a fight for everyone out there. i wouldnt be just strolling for my race. Besides, i'll be feeding off from another source of satisfaction. Improving on my time. All the objectives, goals and motivation of trainings right now is to better my timing, not so much on whether i can win something. i know i wont be winning anything already. But to see my timing being slashed like how Saitoh will slash Shishio, i'll be living a happier man.
