A blog offers a portal for you to enter deep into a person's mind, showing what is going through it, "flashing" you some images of a person's experience, blah blah blah. In whatever case, the emergence of a blog has certainly bring you multiple steps closer to a person. You wont be able to totally understand a person after, say, reading three blog entries of his or hers. But you can certainly get an idea of how a person thinks of something, be it an incident, a current affair, or on a person and his/her action.

There are many people around me who has got a blog. And do you know something? A word search on google.com may even have results coming from people's blog. Try to google your name and see what happens. If it's going to be a common name like Tom, Dick or Harry, forget it. You're sure bound to have a million results shooting from all direction. Try your full name. If you're lucky, i'm 99% sure you'll have results coming from people's blogs. It'll be best if your name is full of Asian taste. Like mine! But then again, dont be surprise if you have a zero-result-return. Oh ya, put quotation marks between your full name to get maximum results. This was what i did and i got a very big surprise. Or maybe a shock. I googled the word, "myname".

Out came only 1 result. And the funny thing was, it didnt came from my own blog. It came from someone else's blog. This is one great thing, cos you can check if someone is bad-mouthing you. But in my case, i didnt really care if someone did. This blog turned out to be S12's blog, in other words, for those nimkumpuut who still doesnt know what's going on, it's diana's civics class's blog. i got really excited when i stumbled onto this website. i really wanted to see what was going on cos the result of "myname" can only be me (yeah yeah, just throw me the sentence, 'how sure that's you?') and also cos the URL contained the word ugah, babyugah to be more exact. ugah happened to be the cant-be-found-in-the-dictionary, nonsensical and imaginary word that jiangshui came up with. One look at the URL and i was so sure it was me. Read the entry but it did not stir up much excitement for me. But at least i knew that at that period of time when the entry was posted, i was in the so-high-that-i-was-blind feeling. i saw a "Links" column and almost immediately, my eyes caught hold of the word "baby!!". It was the nickname for diana in s12. i clicked on it at once and soon, i was welcomed by a picture of muffin cakes. Along came a tune of a baby-ish voice singing in the background. Anyway, i entered a higher level of excitement(no no, dont think dirty here pple).

It dawned on me then that she has a blog too! No, not that she doesnt have an exclusive right to own one, but just that i never thought that she'll have one. Immediately, i went on a search for the archive column. Many clicks later, i realised that she had hid the archives column. Boo~hoo! Never mind. i tried to hack into it. Wait, dont think those super technology and gadgets blinking rainbow colours. All i did was to play with the URL. But in any case, i failed.

You may or may not be wondering why am i trying so damn hard to look through her archives. But my reason was to try and find entries dating all the way back to March 2004, if she had started her blog then. i was trying to find out if she had blogged about activities happening during March to May 2004. It was the time when i did many stuffs to her and for her. i was also trying to find some form of that "portal" that leads me to what she was thinking back then. It wasnt vital nor essential. It was just something that i really really want to find out badly. But i guess it will always remain a mystery for me all the way till i fade away from humanity. Yeah, this is pretty sad...

Sad things aside, the A-Level results came out on Friday. Same thing goes for my Chinese AO result. Whole day long and even for the day before that, i did not give a damn about this thing. All i hope for was a pass so i wont be needed to go for Chinese lessons. Haha, the real deal is that i've already ponned Chinese lessons for more than a month already. But anyway, when the class was in a rush to go get their results, i was more concerned about copying my chemistry tutorial. Right next to me then was Amanda, who was copying chemistry too. Her phone rang and she suddenly started jumping. I gathered that she must have done really well. She handed me the phone and i spoke to the party on the other line. It was Yuxuan. His words were, "You got the same grade as Amanda." i felt a sense of relieve, cos i knew i have at least passed. Then it came to me that i could have also done well, since Amanda was hopping with joy. So i asked him what grade Amanda got. I got a shock, it was an A1. i never did expect myself to have done so well, since i had been getting B4s for both my Common Test and Promos. An A1 was like totally out of the picture. Whatever it is, i hope i can do just as well for all my examinations heading my way, March Common Test, June Common Test, Prelims, and ultimately, the A-Levels. I pray that I will be able to do well for all of them. =)
