RoadRun'05 is finally over! *phew* It had been a busy 2 weeks for me. The entire experience was something new. It was something that I couldnt express in words. There were the hard times when we were so pressed for time. There were the tears. I am serious about the tears. One of the ICs for this RoadRun'05 almost broke down in tears(his eyes turned red) after arguing with Ms Tammie Ho over some stuff. For me, I almost broke down in tears too. From all the stuff that we had to do. It was definitely very stifling. Towards the actual day of RoadRun'05, I was telling Amanda and Huiyan that I can just cry if you ask me to.

The two days leading up to Friday was crazy for me. I left the school compound at 2130 on Wednesday and 2215 on Thursday. Because of the many paperwork that I had to do even after reaching home, I slept at 0130 on Thursday wonderful morning and at 0045 on Friday glorious morning. I woke up at 0530 on Thursday morning and 0500 on Friday morning. All these translate to 8 hours of sleep time over the course of two days. Wow! I almost cant believe myself on these because I lasted through it. Sleep is like how important to me and yet, I endured through it all. I am kinda proud of myself.

RoadRun'05 is a huge success. I want to thank my committee for working so hard. There are Bekky, Henry Seah, Helena Tan, Benita, IP's Samantha, plus 3 last-minute-added J1s in the recording committee. They did a wonderful job recording the names of the competitors and giving out the collar pins to them. I am so grateful to them. And there is Ivan and Brian in the refreshment committee. Thanks for doing a great job supervising the Milo truck. I just really want to thank you all!

Everything was great for RoadRun'05. I want to thank all the gods there are for not raining on that day. If it had rained, I would just break down and start crying for all the hard work and effort down the drain.

After the whole event, the ICs got a treat from Ms Ho and Mr Loh. Yay! So happy! Swensens! Dont play play... Finally, I got to eat something other than ice-cream from Swensens! Haha... Dont I sound silly? Chicken Mixed Peppers and Salmon 'n' Mushroom Baked Rice taste fabulous. The baked rice is abit too salty. But I like it. Everything tasted heavenly! Or maybe I was just hungry...

RoadRun'05, where the road belongs to us. An experience I will never forget, and new friendships forged which I hope will never be broken. Too bad I didnt get to run to allow me to assess my fitness... But I'm sure I'll never end up in Top 50.
