I feel so talkative that I am going to make history in my blog today. With this entry, I am going to score a 4 within today. 4 entries within a day. Actually, it would have been 3, if not for the entry to reply Daryl. I wanted to put all those in his comment box. But that wouldnt have been the worst way out. Anyway, as promised, I wanted to talk about the senior-junior BBQ over at Jacqueline's place. With that, I would have gone down to Jac's place for 4 times. Previous 3 were for PW. Gosh, let's not talk about PW. It was certainly a great gathering. This gathering was very much unlike those before. Try and remember the gathering over at Michelle's place, or those which we have tried to organise over at a few places like East Coast Park, they were all pretty much failures. It was much better this time, in terms of the number of people, as well as the level of fun. I got to know our junior class much better, but unfortunately, not exactly all of them. To know all of them would be the most ideal situation, but that would have happened in fairy tale I guess. But I was contented with just knowing more of them. It was indeed some form of interaction. Talking took place. And temporary cliques took place due to the limited capacity of the table. If not, I am sure everyone would have been interacting. Food was pretty much okay, although I was totally not involved in the BBQ-ing. I ate really little. Foooooooodd... I am hungry right NOW! Forget it. Anyway, there's this guy in 05s10, from ACS(I), who can make some sound which is damn realistic la! The clucking of a hen followed by a shrill, the voice of CS over the walkie-talkie, a dial-up tone... They were all damn realistic, especially the hen clucking. It left everyone of us laughing, with me and Regina almost rolling on the floor. And I'm serious. I am laughing right now just thinking about it. Let's get to the highlight of the day. The dunking! I was the third person to be thrown into the pool. Man! I was all so wet, without any spare clothing. But luckily, I took out my Nokia3100 before hand. Quite a cheapo phone, but still, it's my only phone. David was the first while Regina was the second. Many more went in after that. Pereira was so right in saying that after being dunked into the pool, you feel god-like. The stress is gone. And I meant the stress of watching out for being dunked into the pool. You are already all so wet, so 'no fear'! Haha... And I learnt a few things from all these dunkings. Firstly, I learnt the technique of freeing yourself if you are caught in a struggle with a few people who wants to throw you into the pool. But I'm not going to reveal it. Go figure it out yourself! Secondly, I learnt that NJ uniform isnt waterproof. And that it becomes damn freaking heavy after soaking up some water. It was hard trying to get myself on land. Thirdly, I witnessed the forces of nature. Nope, not that of the forces of attraction. When I say nature, I meant the forces of the bears. We all tried to dunk Eileen into the pool, but of course, Samuel came to the rescue. Do not underestimate the power of bears! Pandas can underestimate abit. Haha... But anyway, it was an ugly sight seeing how Samuel tried to save Eileen. It was brute force, both on our part, trying to dunk Eileen, and on Samuel's part, trying to free her. We dare not trifle with Nature, and so, we release the panda back to the bear. David got injured in the process of trying to grapple the bear. Luckily, there was no bloodshed. Anyway, it was all in the name of fun. And the fun came at abit of a cost. The water level of the swimming pool in Jac's place went down. Too many of us fell into the pool and soaked up the water. I am looking forward to the next such gathering... especially with our junior class. I hate to admit it, but they are the ones who made this whole thing much more fun! If we were to have one just by 04s10 alone, I can firmly say I wont have as much fun! Thanks alot, 05s10, and thanks alot, Jac!
