Hey Daryl! I wanted to put all these in your comment box. But after typing abit, I realised that I might not have the space! I'm just going to flood that box of yours eventually. You know what? You think you are at mediocrity level because this is what you believe you are at! Maybe you ought to just stop thinking that you are so and things may, okay, maybe not may, but WILL improve! I ever felt the same feeling as you that everyone around you is just good at something. And then you're not! You see, I am a very no-talent person. I know no music, I dont play any instrument. I cant read a score sheet for nuts. But you can. You play a horn at least. You are capable of blowing a tune out of your horn. I cant. I can only just stare hard at a piano, at a guitar, at all the instruments there are in your band room. There you go, 1 to Daryl and 0 to afghanboy. NJCians are not superhuman. They are not doing schoolwork, CCA and everything in their lives almost so perfectly. It is just that you are only paying attention to everything that they are succeeding in their lives. You dont see them fall, but that is because they fall out of your sight. You think your schoolwork is getting worse? I can tell you a firm no. It is just that those people are better than you. But the same fact can apply to me when I say that you are better than me. Just compare yourself to me and you should be able to see how much better you are in the intelligence department. There are people who will be better than you, but at the same time, there will be people who are not as good as you. In other words, you are better than them! Or at least better at a few things than them. 2-0 to Daryl. Seriously, dont make your life so miserable by feeling depress all yet so often. Life is short. You cant disagree with me on that. Just stop thinking that you are a pathetic chap and viola, your life will turn out better. I can be sure even with your horns. I think you are dropping on standards with your horn because you are not really believing in yourself firmly. Change your mindset and you start changing yourself, for the better...
