Argh! I am falling sick from insufficient sleep. Yet, here I am, typing away... Cool right? Never mind. Ever since last Monday, I havent been able to get a good night's sleep. Maybe tonite shall be the nite that I'll recover all the sleep I have lost. I am getting a really terrible and irritating flu. That kind of flu which people describe as an unstoppable tap. My nose is that kind of tap.

Yeah, I have been so busy. It feels great, I must say, better than the feeling of rotting my life away like a stone, forever sitting down in front of the television playing my ps2 games almost every other day.

It was MYMCA War Camp for Monday to Wednesday. It was a pure disappointment, partly because I didnt get to mingle much around with the kids. Most of the time, we, as the leaders, just leave the actions to the sergeants and above. Our presence just serves as reminder for them not to go overboard, as well as to oversee that things are going smoothly and safely. At the end of the camp, I couldnt even remember the names of the kids. Not even all the people in my team, which is Bravo Team. For the Adventure Camp, I could remember 80% of them, as in the names. Just before breaking camp, I made the effort to memorise all the kids' names. For War Camp, I didnt even bother. I dont feel the strong bond forged naturally between me and the kids. So I just left things to develop naturally. Another reason for the disappointment was because the camp was held out of the MYMCA compound. Messy was the word to use. Poor control is another. It just wasnt easy to manage the kids in a place with an undefined boundary. We did define it, but the kids always push it. That brings me to another thing. Many of the kids are boys, and they are one stubborn and naughty lot. Some are proud, some are cheeky. But of course, there exist the angelic ones. Thankfully for them, they left me with some form of encouragement to carry on the camp as a leader. Slept at around 1+am on the first nite and almost 3am on the second nite. Torturous!

Thursday and Sunday were the best days I had. But nonetheless, I still had insufficient sleep. Had to wake up at around 10am because I was going out later on in the day. Friday morning had training over at Macritchie, easily translating to me having to wake up early. Saturday, Christmas Day, did another CIP activity for MYMCA. It was some activity called Festival of Sports. Had to reach MYMCA before 7am. Woke up late and in the end, had to take a cab down there. It was a waste of my money. I found out soon after that I could afford another half an hour of journey time. hAiz!

Yesterday and today, OGL camp. Not a stay-over one. But on both days, I had to reach school before 7am. I am feeling the fatigue inside me. It had already set in long ago. I better go catch some sleep.

This entry is just basically for those who wants me to update...
