How many minutes left? Oh my, around 15 minutes. This spells the end of my delightful 17th birthday which I enjoyed very much.

I dont care if this is going to be a simple narration. It's exactly 17 years after I came out from the birth canal. It's a special day.

At 0000hrs, I wished Vince 'Happy Birthday'. The other guy who shares the same birthday as me, and whom I know too. Yes, as Vince said, there may be around another 2million people having the same birthday as you. But to know another person under this category, it's not easy. And this is also what makes the first three months' 04S10 so very special and unique. I'm quite sure there isnt going to be another class, where you can find 4 'twins'. Can you? If you do, let me know, and let me marvel at the sight. It'll be best if they're all real twins.

Heading back to my room for a good night's rest, I picked up my handphone to be welcomed by 3 birthday wishes. So touching... being able to receive such messages so early in the morning. Over the midnight, I received another 2.

Econs Paper 1 and 2. Didnt really prepare for it well, but MCQ wasnt all that really hard. But DRQ and Case Study was a bit of a struggle. Oh man, I didnt score full marks, and neither was I the top scorer la! Haha, just kidding.

Yes! Received my second birthday gift. Abit unofficial la, but I really appreciated it. A box of fruits from the NJ canteen vendor. Most importantly, I gotta recognise this person's effort! Regina, I'm so happy to eat those sweet fruits you bought for me and Vince. I dont know how sweet Vince's ones are, but I do know mine is...

We're already almost reaching town, but a sudden twist of events brought us all over to Junction 8. Kinda weird huh? Ya, I think so too. But I'll not say so much. I think the girls are just so accomodating. Regina, Stef, Siewee and JiaHwa. They are such a bunch of nice girls.

Pastamania followed by Swenson. It's an indulgence heaven for today. Pastamania was a mess. Firstly, the table salt incident by Regina. It's glass for goodness sake. We really need to thank that waiter well, for being so understanding to Regina's clumsiness and helping us clear the mess without much of a complain. This guy is a nice and humorous person. Before we left the place, he said that Regina has got to pay up for that bottle she cracked. Boy must you see the face on Regina. Although it wasnt v.bad, but I could see that she was quite stunned. Haha. But too bad that waiter spoilt the fun so early and fast. I'm sure with abit more of training, this guy could become a real good comedian la! Alas, before we left there, it was a clumsy mess of people singing birthday songs to me and Vince. Notice 'songs'. They kept on singing and singing and singing, 99% halfheartedly. Dont know what are they doing.
Swensons' next. This time, it was worse. The girls were just going insane, namely Regina and JiaHwa. Woo, brrr, scary... Salt-laced and pepper-laced drinks are not my cuppa tea. Then, finally, came the most important thing... Our ice-cream 'cakes'. Yay! So happy. Got candle some more... So exciting. And finally, this time, the girls sang a LOUD, proper birthday song, made me so paiseh in Swensons'. Dont know whether did that happen for Vince, but it sure did for me. But then again, I really appreciate what the girls have done. Like how Regina and JiaHwa keep the spirit, mood and atmosphere alive. I must really hand it to them.

'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' came next. Not a very good show I must say... The plot is quite plain, and it was pure mass-feeding of blood and gore to your innocent brain. If you feel that your brain cannot be subjected to high amounts of bloody and gory images, forget about that show. Have got money to throw around, dont watch that show still. Just give that money to me, it'll be more worthwhile donating to the AfghanFund. The Afghan children will be eternally grateful to you. Actually, the show was just a cover, which I soon came to find out.

The reason why Siewee and JiaHwa didnt come to watch the show with us, was actually because they were making presents for Vince and me... from SCRATCH!! Omigosh, I'm really touched by all their actions. What more to represent your sincerity than a self-made present?? Never did I realise that they were making presents when we were actually watching the show. I thought Siewee and JiaHwa had already gone home or something. When I realised that they were still in J8 after we finished the show, I felt quite weird. Firstly, J8 is not a shopping haven. There's no way Siewee and JiaHwa will be able to stick their heads around there for so long. But I didnt think so much then. It was only until after we reached the 3rd floor, and Regina and Stef purposefully trying to 'siam' the both of them made me start thinking of things. Halfway round the third-floor, I slowly began to realise what the other two people were doing, but I was just pretending to be dumb, not wanting to spoil all the intentions. Yet here I am, pouring out what I really know. When I first realised that, I wasnt so sure, because we were so far away from Food Court, and I couldnt read JiaHwa's and Siewee's minds. But after me and Vince popped by over in front of JiaHwa, it could only confirmed my suspicion. Yay, I think I'm good. I think I can go join CSI right now la. Immediate recruitment man!!

Anyway, thank you so much for the presents. Thank you Regina. Thank you Stef. Thank you Siewee. Thank you JiaHwa. I'll cherish that big-headed 'penguin'. And the neoprints. I'll leave today's memories saturated in the memory gold chest of my brain.

It was time for celebrations again. This time, with my relatives from the paternal side. My Third Uncle and First Aunt brought us to this crab feast over at AMK. I sure must praise the food there man. Never once had I eaten so many dishes, which I'll definitely claim them all to be good. Serious! But too bad I've forgotten where that place exactly is. Oh man, the crab feast. I'm drooling...

Birthday greetings acknowledgement time. It's in order of first-come-first-noted basis.
0) Vince, my 'evil'? twin.
1) Chee Fung, the 04s10 scandalous Cathrine lover.
2) Stefni, the nemo in 04s10. A great confidant and listener to all your woes. This is important!!
3) Siew Ee, just plainly the SiewEe in 04s10 (I'm sorry I cant think of anything special to write for you)
4) Jun Hao, my ex-neighbour, primary school classmates in River Valley Primary, secondary schoolmates in ACS(I), and now extended up till JC schoolmates in National JC.
5) Huixia, my elder brother's girlfriend.
In between here, the greetings came from the atrium group. Namely: Daryl, Samuel, HuiYan and Yulin.
6) Uncle Peter, my greatest and most humorous Third Uncle on the paternal side. I think he's just fantastic. Dont know how, but he just tickles me easily.
7) Aunt Jan, my First Aunt on the paternal side. She's the only relative that didnt gave me any cousins. Haha, just joking. I guess it is also due to the same reason that's making her look still quite young.
In between here, greetings came from the people over at the canteen. Namely: Regina, Jiangshui, Justin, HuiJia. And to these special two, from Vince's form class, one of them Jiahui, and the other, woops, I'm sorry I didnt know your name.
8) Yihui, my fairy-godma who doesnt grants me all my wishes. But she still makes a good confidant and listener. Companion too. She doesnt like to be all alone too.
9) Joel, my paternal cousin. A cheeky boy, but still has his own innocence. Hope he really does well for his PSLE.
10) YaoWen, my greatest bosom buddy. Our brotherhood gang leader. Dont worry about being so low on the rank, I know you are busy studying for that last paper. Just to let you know that I'm glad that you're always there when I needed someone.
11) Michelle, one of the funniest people in 04s10. Same reason that makes s10 all so cranky and funky. You rock girl. And thanks for the message, it's so pretty with that picture message.

It's kinda sad. I've waited for 24 full hours. But I just didnt get that birthday wish from her. Hmm. Maybe it just really shows that I've never ever been any one of the bright sparks in her life. Oh well, it's just plain sad. And worse off, my cousin Joel and my Third Uncle kept on mentioning her. A variety of stuffs though. Aiyah, birthday come, birthday go. Never did receive the birthday wish from her, I guess I'll never will in future. It's pointless trying to expect something impossible. Nevertheless, when the time comes, I'll give my birthday wishes to her.

God... This is a real long entry. Well, really do hope that all my wishes will come true. And life will just be better.
