So many things happen in such a short span of time. It's been a long time since I squeezed every second of my time to do something, and it's really tiring, but I'm not regretting it anyway. Let's see. Yesterday, the usual school stuff. But the main thing was, I went for training! I went for training okay?? Haha, why does it seem that I making such a big hooha about going down for training? Because I slack a lot for training, so going down for training is a BIG deal! Some of you out there will know what I mean. But basically, I'll be going down for training from now onwards. My form has certainly dropped, but thankfully not gone. Right after that, I had to rush down to town buy stuff for Mr Wong. Kind of last minute you may say, but I had no idea what to buy him, until getting such suggestions here and there. And time being little, I had to do the shopping on Monday, where there was training, and yet I still made the effort to go down for training, then buy the stuff. Got this thermos-like tumbler from Starbucks that we could customise. Not say very nice, but I like the idea of customising it. Then from town, I went all the way to Clementi to get cheap red pens, which are 10c each! Got 20 of them, and used this to play a trick on Mr Wong. Wanted to see some weird and funny reactions from him when I gave it to him today, but sadly, all he said was a million thank you. No fun!! Oh yes, I must thank Jon Tan for accompanying me to do all these. If not for him, I'll be doing it alone, which will be very boring. Thanks Jon! It's Teachers' Day Celebration today. The NJ celebration, I will not say it's very bad, but it's not very good either. I like the picnic idea, but it was all so cramped up in the parade square. But anyway, did not get to watch much of the early performances, because I was running all over the place to get signatures of people from my class. This was for the design for the customising of the tumbler for Mr Wong. Everyone was everywhere. Yulin was at the Oasis, Daryl was at the Band Room, Amanda was at the back of the parade square, Chee Fung was everywhere taking pictures, Samuel, Jiawei and Jiangshui was at the atrium doing PA, JiaHwa was also at the Oasis, Stef ponned school, Eugene was at the linkway, and luckily, the rest of the class was at the parade square. Still, I was running here and there and everywhere. When I settled down to watch the performances and enjoy the picnic, celebration was already halfway through. For the remaining performances, only some were good, the rest cannot make it. The teachers' band was good, the western dance was good and the choir boys were good too. Basically, the rest cannot compare with the three mentioned. Then rushed back down to ACS(I), to watch the classic performance by Joseph Wong, Karen Liau, and the other female Singh teacher, who teaches English, but whose name I forgot, but if you can read it three times over continuously, you can score high distinction for English oral. It is really just so classic man! I will never get enough of their performances. But too bad, today's performance will be the last episode ever, because Mrs Karen Liau will be leaving ACS(I), leaving Singapore at the end of this year. As said by many, the departure of Mrs Liau will mean that ACS(I) will never be the same fun school ever again. Really! Serious! Sigh, but sometimes, things are just not beyond our control. I guess ACS(I)'s "culture" will change with her sudden absence. Anyway, saw so many familiar faces today. Each and every one whom I saw, makes me feel like I had gone back to Sec 4. People like Yaowen, Weiming, Yee Sen... Maybe we did not talk much, but the laughter we share brings us together just as easily. I went back to my primary school, River Valley Primary School! It's been ages since I went back. And this time, the campus has moved to take over the compound previously occupied by CHIJ Kellock Convent (yes Regina, your alma mater, we have taken it over!). It's all so new now, and the compound greatly enlarged. It was all so exciting, yet sad at the same time. Firstly, I went back alone. I think I was the only person older than the Sec 4s to go back. Secondly, there are now so many new teachers. Those who I know, are disappearing. I go back to RVPS to see basically 3 teachers, make that 2. Because one of them, she just acts and pretends that she still remembers us, but in actual fact, she has already forgotten who the hell we are. The reason why she's still ACTING so warmly to us, is because she wants to look polite and her ego is so big that she's afraid to burst it if she said she forgotten who we really are. The remaining 2 teachers, one named Mr Tay Kim Hon, and the other Ms Jasmine Woo. Mr Tay teaches me Chinese from Pri 4 to 6. Tell you something, he is someone who practises favouritism. I was ostracised by him during Pri 4 before, so it was a bad experience. But after that, I became one of his "pet" favoured by him. I like him, one thing because up till now, he still remembers me. And secondly, he is someone whom you can talk about a lot of things with. Ms Woo is my form teacher in Pri 4. One thing about her, was that she's quite pretty, but don't know why not attached. She's also a very nice teacher. I remembered her giving me this inspirational and motivational card to me during Pri 5, one year after she taught me. It made me feel that I was important, that I held a place in her mind. That's why up till now, I will never forget her. Unfortunately, she's not around in school today. She had already left the school compound when I reached there. Went to Suntec Eng Wah to watch Collateral. Finally, got to watch this show. Have been saying, over a long period of time, that I'll go down someday to watch it, and yes I did. Not too bad, but I do not find the show superb or fantastic. Just 'not bad'. And so coincidentally, saw Jasin at City Hall MRT station, while we were on our way to Dhoby Gaut. Me, J.Low and 'Charles' went down to PS to makan KFC. The rest, including Weiming, went down to Newton. Kwek went down to Little India for a date, and we were speculating that SHE'S an Indian. Haha. Whatever it is. Yee Sen had to rush home. Over at KFC, we had a great time talking cock. And also, we were such good citizens (customers), when they were almost closing, we did not just sit down there, and said lines like J.Low, "The customer is always right." and then sit down there. I requested for a plastic bag, packed our remaining food, and head up to the open space to eat. Talk more cock and then went home dead beat. Which also mean that I'm very tired now. Gotta go catch some winks. Goodnite everybody!
